Conclusion
Upon learning about many belief systems, it is easy to conclude that they are vastly different. Some are monotheistic, some polythesistic, and some that are simply philosophies and have no divine characters. There are many differences, and these differences are the cause of many conflicts. Looking at the world today, would the founders of these philosophies and religions approve of the interactions? No. Of course, each founder would wish that their respective belief system were the only one, however that is not the case. But, the way in which some belief systems treat others, contradicts many of the core beliefs and teachings of the belief systems. Though, the founders would be more upset at the way in which the belief systems have evolved. It is possible that the only thing the parent belief system and the current one have in common is the name. Despite the obvious differences between belief systems, they do have some similiarities. First, every belief system attempts to answer the same questions: how does the world work? And why am I alive? These are naturally questions we would all like to know the answer to, and so humans establish belief systems that explain our quandries. And finally, they all end the same way. As the belief systems grow larger they are forced to organize, when they organize, they corrupt the founding principles by creating a bureaucracy that becomes ruled by human ambition, rather than the founding principles of the belief system itself. Therefore, all belief systems have the same derivation, and essentially the same decline.
